Two Great Legacies, Together

When Children’s Hospital New Orleans became Manning Family Children’s, the new name deserved an introduction worthy of its legacy.

Working as part of the RTRN team, I helped develop the creative supporting the launch and wrote the script for the Super Bowl commercial that introduced Manning Family Children’s during one of the biggest cultural moments New Orleans had hosted in years.

What’s in a name?

The team built a renaming launch campaign around the idea of two legacies coming together to support children and families.

“Our greatest legacy is the future we make possible for our kids.”

The Super Bowl commercial was a splash, capitalizing on the hospital’s new partnership with Archie Manning and expanding into a broader campaign across OOH, print, digital, social, and radio.

The opportunity
of a lifetime

My biggest contribution was giving the launch its voice. I wrote the Super Bowl commercial script and helped translate the creative idea across supporting campaign materials, including headlines and copy.

Undeniably inspiring

The relationship continued beyond the launch campaign, helping them celebrate 70 years and creating fundraising communications, brand messaging, giving content, and additional scripts—giving me the opportunity to help shape both how the brand looks and how it speaks.

Our latest campaign showcases the undeniable joy, hope, and relentless perseverance that abounds at Manning Family Children’s and includes another famous Manning in a heartfelt commercial.
